West Rehab & Sports Medicine recently relocated and celebrated its grand opening. Owners Brian and Becky West and their staff moved to 475 S. Main St. During the celebration, Chamber of Commerce members and supporters met the Wests, toured the new building and enjoyed refreshments.
West Rehab provides comprehensive therapy, wellness and consultative services to patients. The company’s therapy and wellness services include physical, occupational and speech therapy as well as personal training and fitness classes.
West Rehab was founded in 1990 by the Wests, who sought to make physical therapy accessible to Savannah’s outlying communities. The couple sold their home to help fund the business venture, and West Physical Therapy opened in Hinesville. Business thrived thanks to physician referrals.
The Wests later added occupational and speech therapy and changed the company’s name to West Rehab Services, Inc. Today, the company is comprised of eight clinics, school-based services and industrial, onsite services with more than 50 employees in the Southeast.
