Members of the Richmond Hill Garden Club recently held their annual luncheon, which included the installation of next year’s officers.
The luncheon, held at Richmond Hill’s City Center, had a summer-beach theme and included nautical-themed table decorations. Many of the ladies wore decorative hats.
Speaking about the day’s events, new club President Jan Davis said, “It is an honor to carry on the long standing tradition of the Richmond Hill Garden Club. We have an outstanding team to carry out our club’s goals for next year. I look forward to working with the wonderful ladies and men who make up our organization.”
New club officers joining Davis are Gloria Shearin, first vice-president; Cean Molinari, Joan Chase, and Charlotte Scott,  second vice presidents; Dolores Derrick, secretary; and Kathy Jahn, treasurer.
Mary Burns of Richmond Hill, the master of ceremonies for the day who also served as the program vice-president for several years, said, “It was wonderful to see the great participation from our club members and to help install the new officers.”
Club founder and former president Francis Meeks also attended the lunch.
