The Richmond Hill  Garden Club’s hands-on gardening group, The G Team, worked on its first spring project recently.
Volunteers worked on some of the flower beds designed by Magnolia Manor resident Marilyn Mueller, 93 and an active club member and interim leader of the Magnolia Manor Garden Club.
While serving as RHGC president in 1991-93, she started the club’s successful Pumpkin Patch fundraising fair and the Yard of the Month program.
The all-volunteer G Team helps maintain several sites in Richmond Hill, including the library, a nursing home, a section of Henderson Park and the Green Thumb Kids program.
