Curves International is in the middle of its 2015 food drive.
It runs through March 31 at the chain’s fitness centers across the United States, including the one in Richmond Hill.
The local Hill Curves is inviting both members and others to take part in the drive by bringing in a bag of non-perishable food or donation of at least $30 for a local food bank. The center’s enrollment fee will be waived for new members who make food or money donations.
“We are excited to take part in the Curves Food Drive again this year as it brings the community together to feed the needs of our local food banks while bringing women together in their health and wellness,” said Delene Broeckling of Curves of Richmond Hill. “This year, donations will benefit The Way Station food pantry.”
Now in its 17th year, the drive has donated millions of pounds of food.
