"For with God nothing shall be impossible."

We live in the Information Age. And because we pride ourselves in knowing everything, it makes it hard to believe God.

However there are a few things that the church has got to understand. According to Erik Qualman, author of the book "Socialnomics:"

1. Generations Y and Z consider email passé: Some universities have even stopped issuing email addresses to students.

2. 92 percent of children under the age of 2 have "digital shadows."

3. If Wikipedia were a book, it would be 2.25 million pages.

4. 90 percent of customers trust peer recommendations compared with 14 percent who trust advertising.

5. Facebook’s 1 billion members would make it the third largest nation in the world (behind China and India).

So our captivation with information has seemingly hindered our consistent faith in God! It appears that we don’t have time to wait on the Lord! We desire to have everything right now.

Luke 1:34-41 says, "Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible."

In our Christian walk, people will tell you it doesn’t take all that to please God, but if you want the impossible, you’ve got to be willing to allow the holy God to overshadow you with his spirit. God is ready to do something in us that makes absolutely no sense to anyone, but you, just like he did for Mary. He’s did it before and he’s ready to do it again. We get caught up in trying to know what everyone has to say about our situation, because we’ve forgotten the God we serve is an all-knowing God. God has proven himself time and time again and I just want to remind you that nothing shall be impossible with God!

I’m grateful for where I am right now. I just want to yell, "do it, God!" It gets hard sometimes, but if God leads you to it, he’ll bring you through it! Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but God can deliver us from them all. Just shout, "do it, God!"
