When God issues a recall, respond

Recalls, it seems they’ve become the norm for vehicles. Many have received notifications to immediately schedule appointments for a specific part to be re-evaluated, re-inspected or simply replaced.

Recently we received a notification to have our passenger airbag replaced, because of a malfunction detected with the make and model. After having made the appointment with the dealer, I was informed that the repair would take approximately three hours.

So now, I have to plan to be productive with my time while I wait. During this time, I’m reminded of how the dashboard indicators had given me subtle clues that something was going on behind the scenes, but I brushed it off and went about my way.

The Holy Spirit gives us indicators through warnings, conversations, sermons, and yet we continually operate in business as usual mode.

When we’re forced to make the appointment, we clearly hear God whisper truth to us, such as, "You will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God… let a man carefully examine himself… where do these wars come from, they come from things going on within you… allow me to expose the hidden matter of the heart to you… now remember they that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength… if my people {you} who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray and seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land {both spiritual and geographical}…

He also whispers, "I am the Lord thy God, I am faithful and true… and shall continually provide for you, and be with you even to the end of the age."

We may receive recalls in the natural, but whenever we receive a recall in the spiritual, we need to answer and recall that we are sealed in the Father, and it’s always appropriate to thank him for the fact we have the spirit of promise.

Thank him for the future, that in it all things are working together for the good, no matter what it looks like. Thank him for power to overcome, the power to love and the power to forgive.

As we willingly replace the weights that have affected our wait, we will recall yet again he has been faithful and true to bring us into the dealership for the life altering service that we need to continue to run our race.

Respond to the recall and allow the process to take its course, for the newly supplied part tailor made for you.
