The Staff Parish Relations Committee of Richmond Hill United Methodist Church is pleased to announce two new additions to their ministry: Yoon Nam, new Minister of Music, and Dawn Pape who is the new Children’s Ministry Coordinator.

Nam is from Seoul, Korea and came to the United States in 1996 to study music and is now an ABD candidate in pursuit of her doctorate in choral conducting from Indiana University. She is a very talented young woman who brings so much to the church’s music ministry. Through her direction, RHUMC music programs include: choral programs for adults, youth, children and two hand bell choirs for adults and youth. She teaches voice, piano, music theory and conducting. Yoon shares her talents through her ministry "to encourage our choirs to give their best to God as He has always given us His best."

Pape will be facilitating our children’s programs designed to help them learn about Christ and to know his love for them. She will be recruiting and training people to work on a volunteer basis and asks for your prayers and support. Programs available to children from age two through fifth grade include: Sunday school, children’s church, Wednesday night live, TeamKID and children’s music ministry all on a weekly basis with additional seasonal programs throughout the year. It is Pape's belief that "it is the responsibility of all of us as a community of believers to provide a loving and safe place for our children to grow in their faith knowing the love of our Father."

If you are searching for a church home to enrich your life in Christ and to raise your children in a loving atmosphere, there is a place for you at Richmond Hill United Methodist Church.
