Northside Baptist members visit S.C. children's home

Recently some of the members of Northside Baptist Church of Pembroke visited the Tabernacle Baptist Children’s Home in Greenville, South Carolina, to help share in the spirit of Christmas.
The church had collected items of necessity the home had requested, as well as Christmas gifts for each of the children. Instead of mailing the packages, the church members decided to deliver them in person.
Those who went were: Jeff, Sarah, Jonathan and Jacob Spencer, Edna Love, Evelyn Boone, and James and Edra Burke. They all agreed it was a wonderful experience to see the smiles on the children’s faces and a great blessing to participate in such a worthwhile cause. They’re looking forward to the next trip.
In December, members of Northside Baptist Church went to see the beautiful Christmas lights at Guido Gardens in Metter.
Although the night turned out to be one of the coldest nights of the winter, everyone enjoyed the tour through the Garden and really appreciated the hot chocolate and hotdogs when they returned to the church. A good time of fellowship was enjoyed by those able to participate.
Those attending were: Jeff, Sarah, Jonathan and Jacob Spencer, Edna Love, Evelyn Boone, James and Edra Burke, Wanda Newman, Mandy Newman, Matt, Heather and Caroline Crouch, Zoe Lincoln, and Woodie Hansford.
Northside Baptist Church is located on W.E. Smith Road in Pembroke, and all are welcome to attend.
