A new church is coming to Richmond Hill and is holding its first preview service at 10 a.m. Nov. 13 at Jump N Jacks Family Fun Center in Richmond Hill.
The Waterfront Church is a brand new United Methodist Church being launched by Adam and Rebecca Ricker and friends. The Rickers moved to Richmond Hill in June and say they have a vision for sharing the love of Christ with this community.
“Our dream is to be a church where everyone feels welcome and wanted, where the barriers to discovering God’s infinite goodness are removed, and people can make real and refreshing changes in their lives,” Pastor Adam Ricker said.
He said worship services are intended to be casual and relaxed with great music from the band and meaningful messages that are applicable to life.
“The Waterfront Church is going to be a great place for people of all ages to connect with friends and meet new people,” Ricker said. “I want you to know that everyone is welcome, regardless of your background or belief, or even if you have no church background at all.”
