Sometimes, life throws some hard curves.
But it’s really a natural thing. It all depends on how we handle what comes our way.  
A songwriter once wrote, “I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day. When it’s cold outside, I’ve got the month of May.” That’s an optimistic way of putting it. There are storms we encounter that seem to last forever — sometimes even turning into tornadoes. Those are the times when we need positive friends — maybe someone who has had the same kind of experiences — in our lives who will encourage us.  
It also would help to know how to pray and ask God to intervene and take us through these tough times. After all, He knows everything we are going through before we go through it.  
When we endure the storm and all that comes with it, we sometimes find that we are better off because of it. After the storms and tornadoes, the mild rain is a welcome experience, especially when the rainbow appears. Then the sunshine follows.  
So then, we realize that life is like a weather report.  We may not always get a heads-up on exactly what’s coming ahead, but we know that if we trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, He will bring us through victoriously — no matter what the situation.
