"Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: No one of these shall fail, None shall want her mate: For my mouth it hath commanded, And his spirit it hath gathered them.

And he hath cast the lot for them, And his hand hath divided it unto them by line: They shall possess it forever, From generation to generation shall they dwell therein."

— Isaiah 34:16-17

Calling all young adults, teenagers and children, God has a plan for your life. In 2017, the Lord wants to use you to reach your generation. He is reaching out to young people all over to follow his plan for their life.

Often, I remember when I was young I had the thought that I would serve God when I got older. But, God isn’t calling us to serve him when we get older. He is calling us at the age we are now. Whether that is 5, 15, 25 or 55, God wants to direct your paths now.

The gospel isn’t designed to reach only adults or the previous generation. But, it is to be shared to all generations "From generation to generation."

I am now 47 years old. I realize how important it is that we share the message of hope to the next generations.

All too often churches die because they choose to minister to only one age group. The churches of today need to realize we have to reach out to the next generations and include them. God wants to use them.

Don’t get upset when a child colors on the wall of your church. Don’t get angry when the youth class seems to be louder than the other class. Don’t discourage that teenager when they say they feel called by God. Those are the sounds that this message of hope is spreading "From generation to generation."

God called Jeremiah at a young age and told him to not be afraid of the faces of the older generation. Joseph was about 17 years old when he had a dream from God. The older generation didn’t take too kindly to his dream.

Let’s not make the mistake that elders of there generation made. Let’s do everything we can to reach out to the Jeremiahs who may be young but feel called. Let’s include the Josephs who have a dream given to them by God. Let’s encourage them instead of discourage them.

Let’s make sure the church in 2017 is a church that is doing all it can to make sure the gospel is shared "From generation to generation."

If you are a Joseph we need you. If you are a young Jeremiah we need you. If you are a young Hadassah we need you today. We can’t afford to wait until you get old to try to serve God. We need you now.

I believe the Lord is saying to you the same thing he said to Jeremiah in the 1st chapter "Say not, I am a child, for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee" We need you to follow God’s plan in your youth!
