Do you believe in Santa Claus?

This is a question that you will hear time and time again during this Christmas season; including many movies where this is the key issue. Kids will ask their parents or grandparents if Santa is really real or just a made up character. I am not going to give you advice on how to answer this very important question, but may God give us all wisdom and guidance as we attempt to without sapping the fun out of this season.

A more important question to answer during this season is,"Do you believe in Jesus Christ?" After all, the first Christmas took place over 2000 years ago when He was born. The true meaning of Christmas is that God gave the gift of His son to the world; one who would bring peace, the forgiveness of sin, living hope and eternal life.

The only way that we can answer this question in the affirmative is if we have made a decision to be one of His followers. Then we can say,"yes I believe because I know Him as my friend" The more you know Him and the longer you serve Him, the more you can trust Him and experience His faithfulness then the more you can recommend Him.

If you are one of the doubters I encourage you to give Him a chance to prove Himself to you; I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
