All mankind has to do is to look at God’s creation and conclude from it that God exists.
Romans 1:20 tells us, “Since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” There is no excuse to not believe in God. Archaeologists, on a regular basis, dig up artifacts that prove the Bible to be true — this same Bible that speaks to us of the existence of God. There has never been any finding that proved the Bible to be untrue.
Science has certain theories that would contradict the Bible and God’s involvement in creation, but they are, in fact, just theories. What’s amazing is that science constantly is disproving its own theories.
Another truth is that it takes more faith to believe in the evolution theory than it does to believe in creation at the hand of God. If evolution happened as Darwin taught, then there would be evidence uncovered of the links between man and monkey, for instance, and between other stages as well. Science cannot explain these missing links.
The amazing thing is that the Bible can and does explain why they are not found. There are none because God created us and every animal that has ever existed.
Why is it so important to believe in God’s existence? Because God holds mankind accountable for the lives we live. The good news is that he has made a way for us to live up to his expectations. Over 2,000 years ago He sent his son to us to leave us an example and to provide a way so that we could experience the mercy of God rather than his wrath.
If we choose to follow Christ, not only will our lives here on Earth be transformed, but also we can be guaranteed eternal life in the perfect world to come.
