Mr. and Mrs. Caroll Abshire Scofield and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Daniel Hatala of Richmond Hill are very pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Natalie Caroll Scofield and Nicholas Daniel Hatala.

Natalie is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Boucher of Richmond Hill and Mrs. Esther Scofield of Savannah and the late David Abshire Scofield.

Nicholas is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Barra of Canandaigua, N.Y., and the late Mr. Jon Hatala of Huntsville, Ala., and the late Mrs. Betty Hatala of Huntsville.

Natalie is a 2003 graduate of Richmond Hill High School and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in English education. She is employed with the Bryan County School Board of Education at Bryan County Middle School.

Nicholas is a 2004 graduate of Richmond Hill High School and will graduate in May from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a degree in mathematics with teacher certification. A June 8 wedding is planned in Richmond Hill.

Deborah and Glynn Lovett of Swainsboro would like to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kaci Lyn Lovett, to James Christopher Carter of Swainsboro. James is the son of David and Lisa Walker of Stillmore, Ga., and Curtis and Gloria Carter of Ellabell.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bob Lovett, Linda Wilkerson and George Archer, all of Swainsboro.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late W.H. Carter and Joy Winter and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Williamson.
The wedding will take place Saturday, Nov. 13, at 4:30 p.m. at the home of the bride’s sister, Heather Peebles, in Swainsboro.
No local invitations sent. Family and friends are invited to attend.
The couple will reside in Swainsboro.
