Mr. and Mrs. John Elton Dominy of Dublin announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brandi Dawn Dominy, to Brian Daniel Barker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wayne Barker of Richmond Hill.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Deward Beacham Jr., the late Oretha Williamson Dominy and the late Joseph Elton Dominy, all of Dublin. Miss Dominy is a 1995 graduate of Dublin High School and attended Auburn University, where she received a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. While at Auburn she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She is employed with Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Darnell Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Eugene Pace, and the late Ellen Jeanette Brownson, all of Pensacola, Fla. Mr. Barker is a 1996 graduate of Savannah Country Day School. He received a bachelor's of science degree in marketing from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he is currently employed with Aeroteck.
A September wedding is planned on Lookout Mountain. The couple will reside in Chattanooga.
