Dr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Byrnes, Jr. of Richmond Hill are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Marie Byrnes, to Jeremiah David Cantrell, son of Major (Ret.) and Mrs. Hugh D. Cantrell of Richmond Hill. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret E. Jory and the late Donald P. Jory of Utica, N.Y. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Byrnes Sr. of Fairbanks, Alaska. Miss Byrnes is a 2002 graduate of Richmond Hill High School and a 2007 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University with a bachelor of health science and a master of science in physical therapy. She is employed as a physical therapist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Ga.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Cantrell of Lizella, Ga. and Mrs. Sara Jo Britt and the late William Britt of Macon, Ga. Mr. Cantrell is a 2002 graduate of Richmond Hill High School and a 2007 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He is employed at Coastal Medical Billing.

A March 1 wedding is planned.
