Eagles Scout has court of honor

Ellabell Eagle Scout Brett Kohler had his court of honor held March 7 at Ellabell Methodist Church.
He received an American flag and certificate from U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga.; a proclamation from the Bryan County Board of Commissioners; an achievement award from the Grand Lodge of Georgia F&AM, which was presented by 2nd Grand Stewart Don Combs; and numerous letters and certificates from other politicians and organizations.
Kohler has camped more than 100 nights in a tent and earned 32 merit badges.
He is the third Eagle Scout of Barry and Joannie Kohler, maternal grandparents Kenny and Joan Miller and paternal grandparents Tom Kohler and Gloria Thums.
