Dolphin Project program is May 20q

The Dolphin Project is hosting a dolphin program and research training workshop from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 20 at the Richmond Hill Public Library.

Learn, about the habits, anatomy, behaviors of and threats to the local wild bottlenose dolphins. The Dolphin Project (TDP) is an all-volunteer research, education and conservation organization begun in 1989 to research and protect bottlenose dolphins and the shared environment. Learn how crews conduct photo-ID surveys and how to become a member of TDP.

The program is for ages 12 and older, while the minimum age for research participation is 16. Skippers with boats, team leaders and photographers with a 300mm lens camera are needed.
