The Dolphin Project is hosting a dolphin program and research training workshop from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Richmond Hill Public Library on Ford Avenue.

Learn about the habits, anatomy, behaviors of and threats to the local wild bottlenose dolphins. The program is appropriate for ages 12 and up. The minimum age for research participation is 16. Skippers with boats, team leaders and photographers with a 300mm lens camera are needed.

The Dolphin Project is an all-volunteer research, education and conservation organization started in 1989 to research and protect bottlenose dolphins and our shared environment. Learn how crews conduct monthly on-water, photo-ID surveys, and how to become a member.
