The recent dog wash fundraiser at PawParazzi Pet Boutique and Grooming Spa raised more than $500 towards the building of the new Bryan County Bark Park, as board members confirm that land-clearing and building will start soon.
The funds were raised by the work of Jane and Alex Honnor, PawParazzi’s owners, and their grooming team as well as Coastal Georgia Veterinary Care, which donated a percentage of all proceeds from micro-chipping sales.
New Bark Park bandanas also were unveiled at the dog wash.
“We are very grateful to PawParazzi for their ongoing generosity,” Bark Park President Wendy Bolton said. “The wet summer has delayed the beginning of land-clearing and building at Henderson Park, but events like this mean that we will have more funds available to make faster progress during the fall and winter months.”
