Each day that a member completes a workout, Curves of Richmond Hill views it as a milestone. But it’s not every day that a member can celebrate her 1,000th workout.
Judy Rainwater, a Curves of Richmond Hill member, recently was recognized for her completion of 1,000 workouts.
“We are absolutely thrilled with Judy for demonstrating such commitment and dedication to reaching her goals. She is a true inspiration to all of us at Curves of Richmond Hill, as well as all of our members,” said Delene Broeckling, owner of Curves of Richmond Hill at 10104 Ford Ave. “Judy’s achievement is creating a buzz in the club, and we’re excited to share that with everyone, including the local community.”
Rainwater joined Curves in May 2002, and members say her dedication to a healthy lifestyle is an inspiration.
Curves’ exercise program consists of 30 minutes of exercise three times a week, during which participants work all major muscle groups and receive a cardio workout. It includes all five components of a complete exercise program: warm-up, strength training, cardio, cool down and stretching.
