Northside VBS

Northside Baptist Church, located on W.E. Smith Rd., Pembroke, invites children of all ages to Vacation Bible School, July 7-11 from 6:30–8 p.m. This year’s theme is "Good News Games, Winning With God’s Team." There will be singing, games, skits, and learning the word of God. A prize will be given to the girl and boy who bring the most friends. And there will be prizes and light refreshments each night. Mount Moriah

Everyone is invited to help the members of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Pembroke celebrate their 118th church anniversary. The celebration will be held nightly July 7–July 11 at 7:30 p.m. and July 13 at 3 p.m.

Guest ministers for the week will be: Monday night, Rev. Allen Webb of Statesboro; Tuesday night, Rev. Craig Tremble of Statesboro; Wednesday night, Rev. Frankie Owens of Statesboro; Thursday night, Bishop Luis Hills of Lanier; Friday night, Rev. Vernell Cutter of Savannah and Sunday evening Rev. Dr. L. Perry McNeal of Daisy.

 

Mill Creek

Mill Creek Baptist Church announces the following: from July 16-18 Mill Creek Baptist Church will celebrate its 140th anniversary, 7:30 nightly; on July 24 Mill Creek Baptist Church Youth Department will have its annual Vocational Bible Study, 6-9 nightly; on July 26-27, Mill Creek Baptist Church Junior Mission will have its annual Family and Friends picnic, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Mill Creek Church. On July 27, the group will have their annual Family and Friends Program, 3 p.m.

 

Ron Herrod

The Emmanuel Community Church, located on Little Creek Road in Pembroke, welcomes Ron Herrod who will be speaking Saturday, July 12 from 7-8 p.m. and Sunday, July 13, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Herrod is the president of the Southern Baptist Evangelism Association.

 

Bryan Neck

Pastor Pete Broxton Jr. and the Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church family invite everyone to celebrate its 139th church anniversary. The celebrating will begin Thursday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Stanford L. Anderson I and Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Richmond Hill. It will continue Friday, July 11 with Pastor Berry Staley and Fairmount Missionary Baptist Church, Savannah and conclude Sunday, July 13 at noon with Pastor Floyd Hartford and Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, Richmond. Everyone is invited.

 

Dinners

The August Birth Month is having a variety of dinners July 18-19 at Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Dinners consist of the following: fried fish, fried shrimp, BBQ ribs, baked chicken, potato salad, collard greens, red rice and corn bread. The price of a dinner is $8. VBS Beach Party

Everyone is invited to attend the Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School, "Beach Party: Surfin' through the Scriptures," beginning July 27-31 and ending Aug. 3. The program is a celebration of God’s love and each lesson will be supported with Bible stories, music, crafts, games and snacks. There will be classes for ages birth through adult. Registration forms are available at Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church. Registration is recommended but not mandatory. Beth Moore

A Beth Moore Living Proof Live Simulcast is being co-hosted at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church on Hwy. 144. Moore is a dynamic Bible teacher and will be joined in this simulcast by Travis Cottrell, a dynamic worship leader. The event will take place Friday, Aug. 1, at St. Elizabeth’s. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., event starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs until 9:30 p.m. Another event is slated for Saturday, Aug. 2, when doors open at 8:30 a.m. The event will be from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Tickets are on sale now, $35 each.
