The Bryan County Emergency Services and the Richmond Hill Fire Department will host a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Bryan County Firefighter Memorial behind the County Administration Building on  Capt. Matthew Freeman Drive.

Sept. 12
Off Broadway Dance Studio will have a ribbon cutting with the RHBC Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at 480 Edsel Drive, suite 200. Call Susan Hayes at 912-312-2022.

Sept. 13
The Richmond Hill Garden Club will hold its first meeting of the 2014-15 year at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, in the John W. Stevens Wetlands Center in J. F. Gregory Park. Go to the group’s Facebook page for more information.
The weapons demonstration “Incoming” with Shuman’s Artillery will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Fort McAllister State Historic Park, 3894 Fort McAllister Road in Richmond Hill. Cost is $7.50 per adult, $6.50 per senior and $4.50 per child. Kids ages 6-younger admitted free. A $5 per-car park pass is required.

Sept 14
The Presbyterian Women of Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church will host a musical and spaghetti dinner event at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Manse on the Bryan Neck campus, 7196 Belfast-Keller Road. Tickets are $10/adult and $2/children 12 and younger, free for children under 6, $25/family. RSVP to 727-2214 and pay at the door.

Sept. 16
The Friends of the Richmond Hill Library will hold its monthly In the Book Room Sale from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16. All types of books will be on sale at bargain prices. Book donations are welcome.

Team Love 4 Lori presents its sixth annual “Ride to Remember” Lori Mobley Groover Memorial Ride Dice Run on Saturday, Sept. 20. Registration is at 9 a.m. First bike out 9:30 am. Last bike out 10 a.m., all starting at Southern Biker Gear in Richmond Hill. The run will end at Dorchester Civic Center in Midway. Registration is $20, with additional rolls $5 each.

Sept. 23
