The city of Pembroke’s recreation department is having a summer art camp in July. Classes, designed for ages 12-adult, are from 10 a.m.-noon Mondays and Wednesdays.
Cost to attend a four-week workshop is $75 plus supplies. For more information and to register, call 912-658-5953.

Driver’s Education
Driver’s education classes are being offered in Richmond Hill through Bryan County Community Education.  Classes are monthly. The cost is $385.  For more information call 459-5116.

RHPC plans Bible school

Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church will hold its annual vacation Bible school from 6:30-8:30 nightly through Thursday. The event is free. Registration or more information is available by going to www.rhpchurch.com or calling 912-459-PRAY.

Kicklighter reunion

The 55th annual Kicklighter Reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Glennville.
A potluck meal will be served from noon to 1 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share. Plates, cups and utensils will be provided. Also asked is that attendees bring pictures, stories and family history for sharing.
The family meets to celebrate ancestors Thomas Kicheliter and family, who moved to the U.S. in 1753 from their home in Germany. There also will be a gathering at the same location at 6 p.m. Friday. Family members in the Glennville area that evening are invited to bring finger foods and attend. Vacation Bible school

New Beginnings Community Church will be having its  annual Vacation Bible School for children ages 4 to middle school from 6-8 nightly  through Friday.

Lions Club plans broom sale

The Richmond Hill Lions Club will have a broom sale at Kroger, located in Richmond Hill on Ford Ave (Highway 144), from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and possibly until 6 p.m.  
Brooms on sale include whisk, child, house, heavy duty and garage, as well as mops.

Fundraiser Party
The Thornwell Home for Children 5th annual fundraising party is at 7 p.m. Saturday at Belle Island Clubhouse, right off Belle Island Road, in Richmond Hill. The cost is $40 per person, dress is coastal casual.

Family Promise meetings set
Family Promise of Bryan County fund-development and publicity monthly meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at The Waterfront Church, 134 Thunderbird Drive in Richmond Hill. Also, Family Promise’s monthly meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, 9050 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill.
