A mobile food pantry will be at Gospel Truth Bible Clinic in Ellabell from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, providing free food for the unemployed, low income, elderly and those in need. Food for fines
The Richmond Hill Public Library is holding its Food for Fines drive from Monday through Feb. 18.
Nonperishable food items, as well as toiletry items, can be exchanged for overdue fines. One can, box, or bag of food or one toiletry item/package will equal $1 in fines. Items may be exchanged for up to $5 in regular overdue fines. Items will be collected at the Richmond Hill Public Library and donated to the Way Station of Richmond Hill.

Garden club meeting

The Richmond Hill Garden Club with hold its monthly meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the John W. Stevens Wetlands Education Center in J.F. Gregory Park.
The guest speaker is Coastal Georgia Audubon Society Vice President Bob Churi, who will speak on shore birds. The meeting and lecture are free. For more information, call 661-6476.

Help BCFC

Bryan County Family Connection is looking for volunteers for 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 11 to help remodel and renovate the BCFC’s new service center at 9611 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill, which is opening in April.

Tree maintenance

The Coastal Bryan Tree Foundation is calling all volunteers to help prune and mulch trees beginning at 9 a.m. Feb. 11 at DeVaul Henderson Park in South Bryan.
Coffee and doughnuts will be provided. Interested volunteers should bring gloves, shovels and rakes.

Pet adoption
The PetSmart Charities Weekend Adoption Event is Feb. 10-12 at 11132 Abercorn St. in Savannah. Local animal welfare agencies will show animals they have available for adoption. Job Fair
Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire will host a job fair Feb. 11 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at its newest retail location in Richmond Hill.
Goodwill seeks qualified employees to fill part and full-time positions as retail associates, production technicians and store cleaners. Goodwill promotes advancement opportunities for all employees.
Representatives from Goodwill will be on hand to help job-seekers with applications at the future site of the store at 9701 Ford Avenue, next to the new Dollar Tree.

Dolphin Project
The Dolphin Project will host a Dolphins & Desserts event at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at Stewart Hall, 520 Washington Ave. in Savannah.
Guest speaker Kris Williams of Wassaw Island’s Caretta Research Project will give an update on the status of the loggerhead sea turtle population in the Lowcountry. The latest in dolphin research and news about our residential dolphins will also be presented. A $5 donation will be accepted at the door. RSVPs are appreciated. Early voting for the March 6 presidential primary/special election is Feb. 13-March 2.
Voters can cast ballots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the County Voter Registration Office at 151 S. College St. in Pembroke or the County Administrative Complex at 66 Capt. Matthew Freeman Drive in Richmond Hill.

The Bryan County Senior Centers are in need of volunteers to deliver meals to homebound clients from 10 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday in the Richmond Hill and Pembroke areas.
