Trash pickup change: Due to the holiday, Richmond Hill’s regular dry trash pickup for for Jan. 1 will instead be done Jan. 2.

Volunteers needed
Not for Profit Hospice Savannah is seeking homecare volunteers in Bryan, Liberty and Effingham counties and will host two training sessions Feb. 2 and Feb. 9.
If your life has been touched by hospice care, you may want to join our wonderful group of volunteers who help lift the burden of stress and worry for caregivers of our terminally ill patients, and who provide companionship and support to our palliative care clients and to our patients.

RH Garden Club
The Richmond Hill Garden Club will hold its January meeting at 10 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Wetlands Center in J. F. Gregory Park. The speaker this month will be Jane Fishman, author and gardener. Her topic will be “The Garden in January.” The public is always invited to join the meeting.
