Santa run: The Bryan County Fire Department South Division will be escorting Santa through neighborhoods in Richmond Hill and South Bryan from about 6-8:30 p.m. in the coming days. Signs will be posted on subdivision entrances the day Santa is due to visit. Schedules will be posted on the South Bryan Volunteer Facebook page.
Any toys donated during Santa’s visits will be delivered to the Pink Heals organization for distribution at the Backus Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

New Beginnings Community Church will have a special service, “A Plain Ole Peace,” part of its series “A plain ole Christmas,” on Dec. 23. Corinth Baptist Church in Richmond Hill will hold a children’s choir musical at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the church at 19536 Highway 144.

Library closed
The Richmond Hill Public Library will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday. The library will reopen at 10 a.m. Dec. 26. The library will also close at 6 p.m. Dec. 31 and reopen Jan. 2.
