Santa run: The Bryan County Fire Department South Division will be escorting Santa through neighborhoods in Richmond Hill and South Bryan from about 6-8:30 p.m. in the coming days.
Signs will be posted on subdivision entrances the day Santa is due to visit. Schedules will be posted on the South Bryan Volunteer Facebook page.
Any toys donated during Santa’s visits will be delivered to the Pink Heals organization for distribution at the Backus Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

Wreaths for Warriors
The sixth annual Wreaths for Warriors Walk Ceremony will be at noon Saturday at Cottrell Field on Fort Stewart. The public is invited.
The cost to sponsor a wreath is $15. To sponsor online, go to w4ww.org or find the group on Facebook. To sponsor by check, mail to Wreaths for Warriors Walk, c/o Anthony Justi, P.O. Box 3533, Fort Stewart, GA 31315.

Public Hearing
The Richmond Hill City Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
The hearing is to obtain public input on a request to increase the number of lots in Richmond Hill Plantation from 750 lots originally approved.

Christmas services
Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church will hold its annual Christmas services beginning Saturday with a live Nativity at 6 p.m. at the Groveland Stairways to Help Community Center, 7200 Highway 280.
During the presentation, the Christmas Story will be presented in three scenes with a selection from the youth choir between each scene. The Nativity will feature live animals and a wooden constructed manager. Light refreshments will be served and there is no charge for the event.
Services will continue Dec. 24 with the annual Children’s Christmas Program and Candlelight Service at 6 p.m. at the church in Groveland. Don’t forget to bring flashlights or electric candles.
