Free food: The mobile food pantry will be available for low-income, elderly, disabled or unemployed people, as well as those at risk, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Gospel Truth Bible Clinic at 362 Wade Carter Road in Ellabell. For more information, call 858-3390.

Choir anniversary
Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church will have its choir anniversary celebration at 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 16525 Highway 144, Richmond Hill.

Board meeting
The Bryan County Board of Health will hold its regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Sept. 4 in the Bryan County Health Department in Pembroke.

Remembrance service
Pembroke Christian Church will host a 9/11 remembrance service, sponsored by the North Bryan County Ministerial Association, at 6 p.m. Sept. 9. The community is invited to bring a chair and enjoy an evening full of patriotic pride.

Dolphins and Desserts
The Dolphin Project will host Dolphins and Desserts at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 in Stewart Hall at First Presbyterian Church at 520 Washington Ave. in Savannah.
The keynote speaker is Dr. Bill Savidge, who will talk about the importance of marshes, which offer protection from storms and serve as a nursery for coastal birds, amphibians and marine life, including our bottlenose dolphins.
Desserts and beverages will be served. The cost is $5 and everyone is invited.

BeachSweep
The Tybee BeachSweep will be from 7:30-10 a.m. Sept. 16.
Beach cleanup volunteers can meet at the North Beach Bar & Grill, 33 Meddin Drive on Tybee Island, for registration and materials. Gloves, bags, grabbers, data cards, pencils, water and light refreshments will be provided.
Free parking will be available for all volunteers. Students should bring their community service forms.
