The Women’s Business Alliance of Richmond Hill will hold a free meet-and-greet networking event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the Richmond Hill City Center.
Light snacks and beverages will be served, and a cash bar will be available.

Plant exchange
The Richmond Hill Garden Club will host its annual Plant Exchange from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the J.F. Gregory Park pavilion.  
All types of plants are welcome:  vegetable seedlings, annuals, perennials, bulbs, landscape shrubs, trees and houseplants.

EPIC Easter Egg Hunt
Consumed Church will host its third annual EPIC (Engaging People in Community) Easter Egg Hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church at 388 Longwood Drive in Richmond Hill.
More than 10,000 eggs will be up for grabs, and the free event is open to all ages. There will also be bounce houses, cotton candy and face painting, as well as hot dogs, chips and drinks for sale.
Every penny made will go toward funding the church’s Haiti mission trip this summer.

Spring revival
Olive Branch Baptist Church in Ellabell will begin its spring revival services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. Services will continue at 7 nightly Monday-Thursday.
There will be special music in each service. The Rev. Pete Wall will be the guest evangelist.
Free movie
New Beginnings Community Church, 75 Crosswinds Drive in Richmond Hill, will hold a free showing of “The Passion of The Christ” at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Friends of the Library
The Friends of the Richmond Hill Library will meet at 10 a.m. Monday in the large conference room of the library.  The public is welcome.

Asperger support group
The Richmond Hill Asperger Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Richmond Hill Public Library. Stephanie Brown from the College Internship Program will be the guest speaker. For more information, email RHAspergerGroup@aol.com.

Honor ceremony

Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill will honor its deacons at 7:30 p.m. April 18 at 16525 State Route 144.

Easter Extravaganza
The eighth annual Easter Extravaganza Egg Hunt will start at 11 a.m. April 19 at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill.
The free event will include a cookout, games, prizes and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Easter services
New Beginnings Community Church will have Easter services at 9 and 11 a.m. April 20 at 75 Crosswinds Drive in Richmond Hill. All are invited to attend.

PRIDE Class
Pembroke Police Sgt. Matthew Lynn will host a PRIDE Class for newly-driving teens and their parents at 6:30 p.m. April 21.
The class is free for all teens ages15-19 and at least 1 parent. The program is sponsored by the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute and the University of Georgia.
Registration is being held through April 10 at the Pembroke Police Department.

Free trash day
A free trash day will be held form 9 a.m.-5 p.m. April 26 at Spur 144 Landfill in Richmond Hill and Millcreek Landfill in Ellabell.
Items that will be accepted at no charge are all bulk items, yard waste and up to four automobile tires per person.
Items that will not be accepted are household garbage, wet paint, chemicals, tractor and semi-truck tires, oil and boats.

Democrats to meet
The Bryan County Democrats’ monthly meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. April 27 at the Pembroke Public Library, 1018 Camellia Drive.
All local Democrats are invited to attend.

Future Wildcat Night

Future Wildcat Night, Richmond Hill Middle School’s annual fifth-grade orientation, will be from 6-8 p.m. May 1 at RHMS, 503 Warren Hill Road.
Participants will tour the school, meet coaches and club sponsors and hear important information from teachers.

Gridiron Yard Sale
The inaugural Gridiron Yard Sale will be from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. May 3 in the Richmond Hill High School parking lot.
Items planned to be for sale include furniture, home goods, clothes, baby items and sporting goods. Multi-family and multi-sport rental space is available.
Proceeds will benefit the Richmond Hill Wildcat football team.

Scout fundraiser

Boy Scout Troop 527 will have its annual barbecue fundraiser from noon to 4 p.m. May 3 at Richmond Hill United Methodist Church.
Meals will include half a barbecued chicken, potato salad, green beans, a roll and tea for $9. Tickets need to be purchased in advance, and Scouts will be going door to door in South Bryan neighborhoods.
The fundraiser will help send Scouts to summer camp in July at the Blue Ridge Reservation in Virginia and possibly the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
