The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and the Liberty Convention and Visitors Bureau will host the 17th annual Illuminated Christmas Parade at 6:30 tonight in downtown Hinesville. This year’s theme, “A Red, White & Blue Christmas … A Salute to Our Troops,” was chosen to highlight Fort Stewart having almost all 20,000 troops at home for the first time in more than a decade. The parade will begin on Central Avenue and continue onto Welborn Street, West Gen. Screven Way and West Hendry Street. It will end on North Main Street. The event is free and open to the public.
