Slate, Casey wed at Savannah church

Thomas P. Casey Jr. and Jennifer K. Slate were married June 11 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah.

Dorothy Slate of Savannah and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Slate Jr. of Spring Lake, N.C., announce the marriage of their daughter, Jennifer K. Slate to Thomas P. Casey Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Slate Jr. of Richmond Hill.
The bride and groom were wed at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah by the Rev. Dr. Charles Houston.
The matron of honor was Ashton Gibson of Savannah, and the maid of honor was Kelly Casey of Richmond Hill. Bridesmaids were Danielle Slate of Macon; Melissa Benninghoff of Savannah; and Olivia Carson of Macon.
The best man was Trey Gibson of Savannah. Groomsmen were Johnathan Boykin of Richmond Hill; Jason Slate of Macon; and Jeremy Slate of Los Angeles, Calif.
The flower girl was Autumn Slate of Macon, and the ring bearer was Preston Samuels of Savannah.
The bride’s gown was a fit and flare style in ivory with all-over lace, cap sleeves and a cut-out back. Bridesmaids wore strapless taffeta A-line gowns in gold with a flower detail at the waist.
Wedding musicians included organist Steve Branyon and singer Dr. Richard McGrath.
The reception was held at The Olde Pink House in Savannah, with servers Amber Seymour and Haven Wellmaker.
The couple spent their honeymoon on a cruise to Belize, Isla Roatan, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.
The couple resides in Richmond Hill.
