Engagement: Anderson, Durden to wed March 26

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Anderson of Jesup and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Durden of Richmond Hill announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Miranda Livonia Anderson of Jesup and Gregory Adam Durden of Richmond Hill.

The future bride’s paternal grandparents are Elizabeth Duncan and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Anderson of Jesup. Her maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Noah “Bud” Herrin of Odum.

She is a graduate of Wayne County High School. She received her elementary and middle school certification from Armstrong Atlantic State University and is employed as a pre-kindergarten teacher at Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool.

The future groom’s maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Roan Turner of Garden City. His paternal grandparents are the late John Durden and Nell Durden, also of Garden City.

He is a graduate of Richmond Hill High School and is a systems consultant for Stage Front Presentation Systems in Savannah.

The wedding is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Jesup. The reception will follow at the Pine Forest Country Club in Jesup.

Maxwell, Love wed in Savannah

Miss Chantel Marie Maxwell and Mr. Matthew Michael Love were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at half past four in the evening at the Trinity United Methodist Church on Telfair Square in downtown Savannah. The Rev. John Hopkins officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Brandt Maxwell of Richmond Hill, and the granddaughter of Mr. Albert George Canady of Savannah and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Farris Stapleton of Texas and the late Mrs. Alice Dixon Maxwell of Savannah.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Robert Love and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Love and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thomas “Rip” Robbins, all of Savannah.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Mrs. Rebecca Mantho Schmidt as her matron of honor and Miss Ashley Katherine Witt, cousin of the bride, as her maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Allison Nichole Andrews, Mrs. Myriah Shoemaker Fitts, cousin of the bride, Miss Meredith Louise Fox, Mrs. Erin Moody Hutcheson, Miss Melissa Sue McNaughton, Miss Mandi Nicole Meador, Mrs. Ashley Love Vick, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Amanda Foster Wardlaw.
The groom chose Mr. Brenton Joel Edenfield as his best man.  Groomsmen were Mr. Jerome Davis Butler, Jr., Mr. Jeremy Randall Hutcheson, Mr. William Burton McNeal, III, Mr. Kristofor Dee Morgan, Mr. Mark Elliot Tyson, Mr. Kelly Lee Vick, brother-in-law of the groom, Mr. Steven Michael Vick, Mr. Glen Patrick Workmon, and Mr. Joshua Dewayne Yawn. Ushers were Mr. Colton Michael Hendrix, Mr. Greg Steven Hendrix, Mr. Tyler Robert Love, cousin of the groom, and Mr. David Thomas Maxwell, cousin of the bride.
Greeters were Mrs. Leslee Potts Gaylord and Miss Darean Mae Sherrod, cousin of the bride. Miss Sherry Pawlowski Logan was the reader. The flower girls were Bryce Madison Dragon, Skyler Denise Roberts, and Scarlett Noel Spence. The ring bearers were Elijah Matthew Fitts, Ethan David Fitts, and Zane Thomas Sherrod, all cousins of the bride.
The reception was held at the American Legion Ballroom on Bull Street immediately following the ceremony.  The newlyweds were then sent off on their honeymoon to enjoy a week in beautiful Jamaica. The couple will reside in Savannah.
