Bacon, NeSmith to wed in June

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hoynes Bacon Jr. of Pembroke are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Haley Gean Bacon, to Morgan Blake NeSmith, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lamar NeSmith of Statesboro.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Thomas Hoynes Bacon and the late Mrs. Emogene Burnsed Bacon and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Olan Butler of Pembroke.
Bacon is a 2000 honor graduate of Bryan County High School. She attained a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education in 2005, a master’s degree in education in 2007 and a specialist’s degree in education in 2009 from Georgia Southern University. She is currently a mathematics teacher at Bryan County High School in Pembroke.
The groom elect is the grandson of Mrs. Betty NeSmith and the late Mr. Floyd Lamar NeSmith of Statesboro and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Morgan of Gray.
NeSmith is a 2000 honor graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics education in 2004 and a master’s degree in education in 2009 from Georgia Southern University. He is currently a mathematics teacher and coach at Bryan County High School in Pembroke.
The couple will be married June 4 at First Baptist Church in Pembroke.
