Bike tours set for Harris Neck

Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge will host free bike tours Sept. 1 and 8 as part of its new Conservation Cycle program.

The guided tours will run from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Harris Neck NWR Wildlife Drive. The Wildlife Drive is a four-mile paved loop through mixed hardwood/pine forests, freshwater ponds, open fields and more.

Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.

Participants will meet at the Harris Neck NWR visitor contact station and should bring bicycles, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, extra water, bug spray and binoculars.
