Ball to honor public safety officers
Firefighters Ball

The Bryan County 2018 Firefighters Ball is set for Feb. 10 at the Richmond Hill City Center in J.F. Gregory Park.

The Firefighters Ball is a fundraiser to give back to help public safety officers who were hurt or killed in the line of duty. Proceeds from the Firefighters Ball will go to the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire.

“The Firefighters Ball is a special time for the men and women in public safety, and we encourage anyone to attend to help celebrate with them,” said Bryan County Emergency Services Director Freddy Howell. “They work many long days and nights around the clock all year, and it's a time they can dress up and go out and enjoy each other’s company and fellowship.”

The keynote speaker this year is Tim Sendelbach, editor in chief of Firehouse Magazine. Music will provided by DJ Brian Conley.

Discount lodging and free transportation has been arranged with Dogwood Inn and Suites and can be booked at dogwoodinnandsuites.com.
