Third Class Citizens, a band with members from Liberty and Long counties, is in the running for both the Georgia Music Awards’ country band of the year and Georgia-country.com’s group of the year.

“This is the second consecutive year for both awards,” said Maureen Moble, the group’s manager.

Voting for both honors is online. The first at gamusicawards.com runs until Aug. 3 in preparation for the awards show on Aug. 15.

Voting at Georgia-county.com, which bills itself as the Country Music Awards of Georgia, runs through July 12, leading up to the Nov. 8 show in Macon.

Mobley said her group is building a new website, 3rd-class-citizens.com, but still can be found at www.reverbnation/3rdclasscitizens, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
