Fourth grade teacher Pam Walker was named George Washington Carver’s Teacher of the Year by Principal Crystal Morales in a recent reception held at the school’s media center. Morales said the vote was close and spoke of the dedication of all the teachers. "Everything you do makes a difference to the children," she said.
