The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill presented its monthly Junior Rotarian Award last week at the City Center to Alex Hollowell, an Eagle Scout who attends Richmond Hill High School.

RHHS principal Helen Herndon, who thanked the club for its support during the recent school year, honored Hollowell.

“Alex is a senior patrol leader and worked hard to achieve the status of Eagle Scout,” she said. “He always gets good grades and will be going to Georgia College State University when he leaves school. In his spare time, he supports the environment and the Coastal Tree Foundation in Bryan County.  He also is active in our technology department and is skilled in video filming and production.”
