Richmond Hill Primary School honored its’ Teacher of the Year and Assistant of the Year during a ceremony in the media center on Feb. 17. The winners were decided by their peers. Teacher of the Year went to first grade teacher Mary Pearl (left). Among the comments made by her co-workers were that she is very creative, always willing to help, on top of all the latest educational strategies and spends her spare time teaching college students. Assistant of the Year went to Linda Sun. Among the comments made by her co-workers were that she loves the children, is considerate of others, and is friendly, pleasant, reliable and helpful.
