The Richmond Hill Middle School Field Studies Program has received an Outstanding Service to Environmental Education by an Organization Award from the Environmental Education Alliance of Georgia.

This is the second state level award received by the Program. Last year it on the award for Extraordinary Watershed Monitoring Effort by Georgia Adopt-a-Stream, a program of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.

The new award was presented to representatives from the Field Studies Program at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center in Buford on March 4.
