Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool will hold a special event on Saturday, Feb. 1, to celebrate National School Choice Week, school leaders recently announced.
The event will feature a campus-wide march for the right for school choice, a student poster contest and essay contest. The event will be held at the school.
Richmond Hill Montessori Preschool serves grades PK-K full day and K-sixth after school, with a student enrollment of 200.
RHM is one of 5,000 schools participating in the week, which is Jan. 26-Feb. 1. The goal of the week is to highlight all types of education options for children, from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and homeschooling.
“We are excited to have RHM participate in National School Choice Week with this special event,” National School Choice Week President Andrew Campanella said. “It is because of great events like this that National School Choice Week, in Georgia and across the country, will break records as the largest and most influential celebration of educational opportunity in American history.”
