RHES Teacher and Parapro of the Year
RHES-Teacher-of-the-Year

RHES’s Paraprofessional of the Year Cindy Godsey and Teacher of the Year Shannon Roberson were honored by Principal Walt Barnes and their peers during a presentation in the RHES media center Thursday.

Barnes said Roberson, a third grade teacher, is “always doing state of the art methods of education by bringing in technology and special programs. She never has any problems with the parents. They love her; the kids love her. It’s the kind of classroom you’d want to put your own child in. It’s an awesome place.”

Barnes said Godsey, affectionately known as ‘the traffic lady’, is “a fun character and one that’s always willing to roll up her sleeves and make things happen. She’s a staple with our traffic force. When she’s out, everybody asks for her.”
