Locals make college deans lists

The following students from this area were named to the Columbia College dean’s list for the October to December 2010 award period: Kimerly E. Chillers, Christina E. Gondry, Robert Gross and Valerie Ramos, all of Richmond Hill.
To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have completed 12 semester hours in a 16-week period and achieved a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a four point scale.
Columbia College, a private, nonprofit institution founded in 1851 in Columbia, Mo., educates more than 29,000 students each year and has more than 67,000 alumni worldwide.

North Greenville University
North Greenville University has recognized Rebecca Raye Carter from Richmond Hill for her academic accomplishments by naming her to the Dean’s List for the fall 2010 semester.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must maintain a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 hours.
North Greenville University, located in Tigerville, S.C., at the foothills of Glassy Mountain, is a co-educational liberal arts institution that provides opportunities for higher education in a biblically sound, Christ-centered environment.
