Students at Lanier Primary had a blast this year while participating in Jump Rope for Heart. Stations were set up for each group and the students had a great time while they rotated through the stations with music playing in the background.
The event raised more than $4,500 for the American Heart Association.
All students who raised money participated in the jump rope event, and those who raised at least $5 won prizes. Aubrianna Stewart was the top fundraiser and Emily Hendricks was second.
Shoni Fritts and Jamie Newton said they appreciate all of the students and parent volunteers who made the event a success.
