Bryan County Head Start students recently got a visit from Wendy Sims, Bryan County Family Connection director, Pembroke Police officers Valerie Williams and Stacy Strickland and Chief Mark Crowe.
Head Start will be recruiting children ages 3-5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 18 at the Pembroke Public Library for the program in Pembroke. Children must be 3 years old by Sept. 1. Parents need to bring their child’s current immunization record, birth certificate, Social Security card and insurance card, as well as proof of income, such as W-2, check stub or unemployment or child support record.
