The girls cross country team at RHHS recently had the honor of competing at the state level. When asked how he felt about reaching this momentous achievement Coach Jimmy Hires said he was "very proud." The girls not only made it to state but placed second in the region. These feats were accomplished in spite of missing some of their top runners, including one of last season’s stars, Glorili Alejandro. The girls also made it to state last year, and are setting a very successful trend by going again this season. The girls cross country team has given all of Richmond Hill a reason to cheer.
