A private Christian school in Richmond Hill has seen its enrollment drastically increase this year, and is gearing up for its 10th anniversary, scheduled for next month.
According to First Christian Academy Principal Heidi Hunter, around this time last year, the school had 70 children enrolled for the coming school year. Currently, almost 140 children are on the school’s roster for the 2011-12 school year.
“God is just blessing us,” she said. “We have excellent families and excellent teachers.”
First Christian Academy will host its 10-year Anniversary Celebration from 6-9 p.m. March 4 at the Richmond Hill City Center. All are welcome.
The 10-year anniversary celebration at the City Center will include finger foods and a silent auction. The attire is semi-formal, and all are welcome. Tickets are $30 and all proceeds will benefit the academy.
