The Richmond Hill Exchange Club honored two RHHS seniors as students of the month at its Oct. 14 meeting Oct. 14.

Corinna Shimalla was honored for September and Kevin Zhu for October.

The award is presented for the months of September through April of each year, based on academic performance, community involvement, leadership and all-around excellence. Each monthly winner receives a check for $100.

Each May, the club’s Student of the Year is announced from among the monthly winners, with the presentation of a plaque and a check for $1,000 presented to the winning student during RHHS Honors Night.
