Katzman makes

dean's list at TWC

Richmond Hill's Robert L. Katzman made the fall 2006 semester dean's list at Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tenn., the school announced recently.

The dean's list includes full-time students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 with no grade below a "C."

 

CGCC recognizes Streat, Connor

Bryan County's Christy Streat was recently recognized for academic excellence during the Fall semester at Coastal Georgia Community College in Brunswick.

Streat waas named to the president’s list of scholars.

To qualify, students must be enrolled for 12 or more credit hours and earn a GPA of 4.0.

Streat and Brianna Connor, also of Bryan County, were named to the fall semester dean’s list at Coastal Georgia Community College. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled for 12 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.25 out of a possible 4.0.

A student enrolled for 10 or 11 credit hours must have a GPA of 3.50 out of a possible 4.0.

 

Career fair at Armstrong Atlantic

Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) will host a Career Fair on Thursday, March 8, from noon-4 p.m. in the Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn Street.

The fair will provide a networking opportunity for job seekers and representatives from more than 50 local and regional employers.

The career fair is designed to provide participants with an effective and efficient way to meet and share their resumes with prospective employers.

The event is free and open to the public. Professional dress is required.
